Description
The Bell 407 OMS is qualified to the stringent requirements of the U.S. Army AED. The OMS reliably converts a commercial Bell 407 into an armed scout helicopter. The 2-store configuration has proven itself against terrorists in the Middle East. Twenty-seven units were delivered and are in operation today.
CFD developed a new, innovative, light weight gun cradle for the M3 and a new rapid Remote Gun Charger (RGC) for this program.
